Institute for the Economics of Innovation
Welcome to the webpages of the Institute for the Economics of Innovation!
At the Institute for the Economics of Innovation we focus on research and teaching in applied microeconomics with a particular focus on innovation studies. Our work ranges from the economics of social networks to high-skilled migration and the production of scientific knowledge. Generally, our research projects require large amounts of data. Hence, collecting these data from historical sources is paramount to our research agenda. Through our teaching and research we aim to advance the knowledge frontier with regards to how inventors, scientists and firms create knowledge.
